Following application and grant of Planning Consent we are comfortable integrating with the Design Team, advising the most efficient architectural and structural specifications to ease compliance with Approved Document Part L, ensuring design decisions for Part L compliance do not compromise Approved Document Part F (Ventilation), Approved Document Part E (Noise) compliance and any Planning Conditions relating to Energy/Emissions reductions beyond the levels of those required under the Building Regulations.
Standard Assessment Calculations (SAP) for new build, extensions, conversions and refurbishment of domestic properties are required prior to commencement on site ensuring energy demand/consumption and CO2 emissions comply with the requirements of the Building Regulations Approved Document L1A & L1B. All our calculations are provided by fully accredited in house On Construction Domestic Energy Assessors (OCDEA's) comfortable working to your own specifications, providing in house solutions and value engineering if you're looking for alternative compliance options.
Simplified Building Energy Model (SBEM) is a software tool similar to SAP and is used for compliance with the Building Regulations Approved Document L2A & L2B for non-domestic buildings in support of the National Calculation Method for the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. All our calculations are provided by fully accredited assessors comfortable working to your own specifications, providing in house solutions and value engineering if you're looking for alternative compliance options.
To ensure compliance with the Governments National Calculation Methodology for assessing water efficiency in new dwellings we can provide calculations and specifications identifying flow rates, capacities and volumes for sanitary fittings to deliver the requirements of the Building Regulations Approved Document Part G of 125 litres per person per day or optional local standards of 110 litres per person per day.
